CyberSecurity Elite is an independent, technically-driven publication covering the offensive, defensive, and strategic sides of cybersecurity. Our writing is aimed at practitioners — the analysts, engineers, hunters, and consultants who do the work — but accessible enough for serious students and curious decision-makers.
Our Mission
To produce the most technically accurate, immediately usable security writing on the internet. Every tutorial we publish is run end-to-end before it goes live. Every CTF writeup is solved from scratch by an author, not paraphrased from another source. Every recommendation is one we would make to a colleague.
What We Cover
- Offensive security — penetration testing, red teaming, bug bounty methodology, CTF writeups
- Defensive operations — SOC building, detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response
- Specialty skills — malware analysis, reverse engineering, digital forensics, cryptography
- Cloud and infrastructure — AWS / Azure / GCP security, Kubernetes, container hardening
- Career and certifications — OSCP, CISSP, GIAC, and how the industry actually hires
Editorial Principles
- Hands-on or it doesn’t ship. If we publish a tutorial, we verified the commands.
- Cite sources. Every advisory, every paper, every reference is linked.
- Acknowledge what we don’t know. No author is an expert on every topic; we say so.
- Independence. We do not accept paid editorial placement. Sponsored content, if and when introduced, will be clearly marked as such.
Our full standards are in our Editorial Policy.
The Team
CyberSecurity Elite is written by a rotating roster of security professionals. Authors are listed on each article. Our team includes former SOC analysts, pentesters, malware reverse engineers, and defenders with experience at consultancies and Fortune 500 in-house teams.
